Magali Rifflart will be holding an artist talk and demonstration at Sydney Art Space on Sunday May 21st from 3-4pm discussing her residency and what has inspired her art making during the past 2 months in Australia. Magali will also demonstrate various areas of her practice during this intimate afternoon art session. All welcome!
Bio
Magali Rifflart graduated from the visual art school at Angoulême and then the university Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne with a Master of Art and International Creation. She began her international career in 2015 with exhibitions and artist residencies in New York, Budapest, Paris and now Sydney. She has also participated in several publications and self-editions, and has gathered together the collective COSMIC in 2016. She is inspired by her recurring travels to fuel her research and visions. Magali’s work process involves the connexion between altered states of consciousness, new technologies and the acts of creation to reach an intersubjective ecstasy with the world.
