Northern Beaches Libraries, Manly Art Gallery & Museum, and Zena Shapter call for the submission of artist portfolios to participate in the 2020 Art & Words Project, celebrating creativity on the Northern Beaches. This year’s theme will be ‘portrait’. Artists to submit up to five images of their work, indicative of their style. Selected artists will then be given a story to read, to which they will respond by creating a new, original artwork before 29 May. Successful candidates will receive a creator’s fee and a complimentary copy of the anthology presented at the launch night.
